Family Day Care is a unique and innovative education and care service offered in the homes of carefully selected, assessed and registered Educators, all holding or working towards Early Childhood qualifications.

Children from 0-12 years are cared for in small groups in a nurturing family home that meets safety standards and is regularly assessed.

Educators are child focussed and offer warm, secure, stimulating play based environments which respect and value each child.

National Quality Framework
Midcoast Family Day Care embraces the new national quality framework which is established under an applied law system comprising the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

The Framework incorporates a National Quality Standard which focuses on improving the quality of care children receive in critical areas of education, health, and safety. The new system combines new Standards in seven quality areas with a rating and assessment system to help inform families about the quality of a service and to assist choice.
